By
registering your organization with the "Give Back” Program, you agree to
the following terms and conditions (the "Program Terms") in addition
to our Visitor Agreement (Visitor
Agreement).
The “Give Back” Program gives eligible nonprofit organizations an opportunity
to earn donations by having supporters write reviews of local businesses on
PalmettoBizBuzz.com. For each qualifying review, we will pay $1.00 to the
specified organization. To qualify to receive funds, a participating nonprofit
organization must earn a minimum of $50. The maximum amount that we will pay to
a participating organization is $1,000. The goal of the Give Back program is to
donate at least $60,000 to charitable organizations throughout the state.
Participating Charities
To register for the “Give Back” program,
complete the application on our sign-up page. In
order to participate, a non-profit organization must be based in South Carolina
and must have a tax-exempt status as identified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
PalmettoBizBuzz.com reserves the right to decline any application to the “Give
Back” Program for any reason in its sole discretion. An origanization
will receive an email when their application is approved.
During the sign-up process, organizations will be asked to indicate the region of the state in which they operate (Upstate, Midlands, or Coast/Lowcountry). PalmettoBizBuzz reserves the right to limit the number of participating organizations in each region of the state. PalmettoBizBuzz also reserves the right to limit the total donations in each region to $20,000.
Qualifying Reviews
Your organization will
receive $1.00 for each "Eligible Review." An Eligible Review must
meet the guidelines set forth in the Visitor Agreement in
addition to the following requirements:
Miscellaneous
By submitting an application to enroll your organization in the “Give Back”
Program, you agree, represent and warrant that (i)
you comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations,
(ii) you are an authorized representative of the organization for which you are
registering and you are authorized to bind the organization to these Program
Terms, (iii) any and all information provided in the registration form is true
and correct, (iv) the organization grants PalmettoBizBuzz.com a non-exclusive,
worldwide license, with a right to sublicense, the organization's trademarks,
service marks, trade names and logos (collectively, "Licensor
Marks") for use in any media, including without limitation, the
Internet, for any purpose in connection with the “Give Back” Program; (v) PalmettoBizBuzz.com's authorized use of the Licensor Marks
will not infringe the rights of any third party and (vi) the funds raised
through the “Give Back” program will be applied solely to a bona fide nonprofit
purpose of the organization.
You understand and agree that PalmettoBizBuzz.com has no obligations in connection with the fundraiser other than those set forth in these Program Terms. PalmettoBizBuzz.com reserves the right to reject an application by any organization to participate in the “Give Back” Program for any or no reason, in its sole discretion. For avoidance of doubt, these Program Terms are in addition to, not in lieu of, the Visitor Agreement. Therefore your organization's registration of and your participation in any fundraiser is subject to both these Program Terms and the Visitor Agreement.
